Support for Rescues, Fosters & Adopters
Free, structured behaviour support to help cats transition successfully into their new homes and remain there long-term.
Post Adoption Behaviour Support
I provide behaviour support directly to adopters, helping them navigate common challenges during the transition period and beyond.
- Litter box issues
- Hiding and adjustment
- Vocalization
- Introductions (cat, dog, children)
- Enrichment and environment setup
How Support Works
Adopter reaches out
Adopters contact me directly via email or website.
Intake & assessment
I gather relevant background information from fosters or staff and current observations from adopters.
Structured guidance & follow-up
I provide a clear behaviour plan with optional follow-up support.
Simple to Integrate
This service requires no additional workload from your team.
Existing notes from fosters or intake records are more than sufficient when needed, and adopters communicate with me directly.
Optional Support for Fosters
If helpful, I’m also available to provide guidance for fosters managing mild behavioural concerns or preparing cats for successful adoption.
This is entirely optional and can be used on a case-by-case basis.
About Me
I am currently completing formal education in animal behaviour through CASI (Companion Animal Sciences Institute) and working toward IAABC certification in cat behaviour consulting.
I focus on practical, evidence-based behaviour support using positive reinforcement and welfare-first approaches.
