Website Use
Website content is provided for general informational purposes and may be updated over time as services, availability, pricing, and features evolve.
Submitting a form, sending a message, or creating an account does not guarantee a consultation booking or ongoing service relationship.
Scope of Practice
Behavioural consultation services are educational and environmental in nature. I provide guidance on feline behaviour, environmental management, and routine structure.
I am not a veterinarian and do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication. Cases involving litter box concerns, sudden onset aggression, significant behavioural changes, or visible signs of pain require veterinary evaluation prior to behavioural consultation.
If at any time a case falls outside my scope, referral will be recommended.
Training Philosophy
All behavioural guidance is based on humane, reward-based methods. Punishment-based techniques - including physical correction, force, shock devices, scruffing, or aversive deterrents - are not supported and will interfere with progress.
Behaviour change is achieved through environmental clarity, predictability, and reinforcement of desired behaviours.
Payment Terms
Payment is required at the time of booking.
Sessions are not confirmed until payment has been received.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours in advance may be accommodated without penalty.
Cancellations made within 24–48 hours may incur a 50% fee.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may be charged in full.
Refund Policy
Once a session has been completed, it is considered a rendered service and is non-refundable.
If referral is recommended during the initial assessment, unused portions of structured support may be adjusted at discretion.
Behaviour outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as progress depends on consistent implementation and environmental factors beyond my control.
Veterinary Requirement
Clients agree to seek veterinary evaluation for behavioural concerns involving litter box changes, sudden aggression, or suspected pain before proceeding with behavioural consultation.
Client Responsibility
Behavioural plans require consistent implementation. Outcomes are influenced by adherence to recommendations, environmental consistency, and accurate reporting of behaviours.
Documentation Requirement
Accurate behavioural assessment requires direct observation. Clients agree to provide video documentation when requested.
Video may be required for assessment of interactions, routines, environmental setup, trigger situations, or behavioural episodes. Consultation may be postponed or limited if adequate documentation is not provided.
Recommendations are based on observable evidence. Incomplete documentation may impact the precision of behavioural guidance.
Communication Boundaries
Communication outside scheduled sessions (if included in your service tier) is limited to designated hours and response times. Services are not emergency support.
Code of Conduct
Services are provided in a respectful and collaborative environment. Harassment, aggression, or unprofessional conduct may result in termination of services without refund.
Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided. I am not responsible for injury, damages, or consequences arising from implementation of behavioural guidance.
Privacy
Client information and case details are kept confidential and will not be shared without consent, except when required by law.
